Sophie Hart Studio was engaged to provide interior decoration and styling for this expansive new build Killara residence — a contemporary family home designed to balance generous scale with everyday functionality. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms and multiple living zones, the home is thoughtfully planned to support a busy household of teenagers and young adults, while still feeling cohesive, calm and considered.

Our scope included developing the interior concept and colour story, consulting on kitchen, bathroom and joinery finishes, and preparing detailed documentation including sample boards, floor plans and FF&E schedules. We also sourced and procured furniture, lighting and accessories, alongside spatial planning and paint consultancy. The contemporary architecture — defined by floor-to-ceiling glazing, a dramatic double-height void, media room, den and private wine cellar — provided a beautiful framework for layered interiors that enhance the sense of light, volume and relaxed family living.
