Set against the spectacular natural beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, The Pavilion and Villa at Lizard Island Resort offer an intimate and luxurious island escape.

Sophie Hart Studio was engaged to refresh the interiors, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic that reflects the island's extraordinary surroundings. With an emphasis on Australian furniture, natural textures and locally sourced artwork, the spaces embrace a contemporary interpretation of barefoot luxury.

The result is a collection of thoughtfully curated interiors that feel more like private holiday homes than traditional hotel suites, balancing comfort, individuality and an effortless sense of place.
