Located in Sydney's leafy Upper North Shore, this substantial contemporary residence brings together refined interiors, considered materials and a relaxed approach to luxury family living.

Sophie Hart Studio was engaged to develop the interior aesthetic, working across colour, materials, finishes, furnishings and decorative details to create a cohesive and timeless home.

Spanning five bedrooms, four bathrooms and multiple living and entertaining spaces, the project called for a considered balance of sophistication, comfort and everyday practicality. From kitchen and bathroom finishes to bespoke joinery, flooring, furniture and lighting selections, each element was thoughtfully curated to complement the home's architecture and the way its owners live.

With an emphasis on natural textures, layered materials and a restrained palette, the interiors were conceived to feel warm, inviting and effortlessly resolved rather than overly designed.

The result is a contemporary family home that balances understated elegance with individuality, creating spaces designed to be lived in and enjoyed for years to come.
